ADHD Focus Lab Membership Terms & Conditions

These Membership Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the ADHD Focus Lab and ADHD Focus Lab Practitioner Access memberships offered by Suzy Carbrey LLC (“Suzy Carbrey LLC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing, receiving, or using membership access, you (“Member”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

Membership is available only to individuals who are at least 18 years old. Each membership is intended for one individual and may not be transferred or shared.

2. Membership Options and Access

The ADHD Focus Lab is intended for adults seeking education, coaching, community, and practical support related to ADHD and executive functioning.

ADHD Focus Lab Practitioner Access is intended for professionals seeking education, resources, and opportunities to ask questions related to supporting their clients.

Membership features may include live group calls, body-doubling sessions, a resource library, educational videos, guides, templates, a community forum, and other materials or opportunities described on the applicable membership page. Features may vary by membership type.

Suzy Carbrey LLC may update, replace, add, or discontinue membership content, platforms, features, schedules, or benefits when reasonably necessary. The existence of a feature at the time of enrollment does not guarantee that it will remain available indefinitely.

3. Educational and Coaching Nature of the Membership

Membership services are educational, supportive, and coaching-based. They are not therapy, counseling, medical treatment, healthcare, crisis intervention, or clinical speech-language pathology services. Membership does not establish a therapist-client, healthcare provider-patient, or other clinical relationship.

Although Suzy Carbrey is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist, all services provided through these memberships are offered strictly as coaching and education. The memberships do not diagnose or treat ADHD, mental-health conditions, communication disorders, or medical conditions and are not a substitute for care or advice from an appropriate licensed provider.

Members remain solely responsible for their decisions, actions, wellbeing, and outcomes. No particular result is promised or guaranteed.

The memberships are not crisis-support services. Anyone experiencing an emergency or crisis should contact 911, call or text 988 in the United States, or contact an appropriate licensed provider or local emergency resource.

4. Billing and Automatic Renewal

Paid memberships may be offered on a monthly or annual basis. Annual enrollment may be available only during limited promotional periods.

Unless clearly stated otherwise at checkout, paid memberships automatically renew at the same billing interval until canceled. The payment method on file will be charged automatically on each renewal date.

Suzy Carbrey LLC may change membership pricing from time to time. Any price change for an existing Member will take effect no earlier than the Member’s next renewal date and only after advance notice. No price will be changed during a billing period that has already been paid.

Members are responsible for maintaining accurate billing and contact information and for reviewing renewal notices sent to the email address associated with their account.

5. Cancellation

Members may cancel at any time to prevent future renewal charges. The preferred method is to cancel through the Subscriptions section of the Member’s MemberPress account before the next renewal date.

Members may also request cancellation by emailing hello@suzycarbrey.com. Email cancellation requests must be received at least two business days before the next renewal date to allow time for processing.

Cancellation stops future charges. Unless access is terminated for a violation of these Terms, a canceled Member will retain access through the end of the billing period already paid. Access will then end automatically.

6. No Refunds

All sales are final. Initial payments and renewal payments are nonrefundable. No refunds, credits, or prorated adjustments will be provided for unused membership time, missed calls, failure to participate, failure to cancel before a renewal, or changes to individual schedules or availability.

7. Complimentary Membership Access

Some one-on-one coaching clients may receive complimentary ADHD Focus Lab access for a stated period. Complimentary access does not automatically convert to a paid membership. When the complimentary period ends, the client may choose whether to purchase continued access.

These Terms apply during complimentary access. Complimentary access has no cash value, is nontransferable, and does not create an entitlement to a refund, credit, or replacement benefit.

8. Live Calls and Schedule Changes

Suzy Carbrey LLC intends to provide the live programming described on the applicable membership page. Dates, times, frequency, facilitators, topics, and availability may occasionally change.

If a scheduled call or session must be canceled, Suzy Carbrey LLC may reschedule it or offer an alternative when practical, but a replacement is not guaranteed. An occasional cancellation, schedule change, or Member’s inability to attend does not create a right to a refund or credit.

Live group calls are not recorded by Suzy Carbrey LLC. Members may not record, photograph, screenshot, transcribe, stream, or otherwise capture or distribute any portion of a live call without express advance permission from Suzy Carbrey LLC and all affected participants.

9. Group and Community Confidentiality

Members must respect the privacy of everyone participating in live calls, the community forum, and any other shared membership space. Members may not disclose another participant’s name, identity, personal information, experiences, questions, comments, or circumstances outside the membership without that person’s explicit permission.

Members may discuss their own experiences and general educational concepts, provided they do not reveal information that could identify or expose another participant.

Suzy Carbrey LLC will take reasonable steps to support a respectful and confidential environment. However, the group coaching relationship is not legally privileged, and Suzy Carbrey LLC cannot guarantee that every participant will honor their confidentiality obligations. Each Member accepts this inherent limitation of participating in a group setting.

A breach of confidentiality may result in immediate removal from a call or community space and suspension or termination of membership without a refund.

10. Practitioner Responsibility and Client Privacy

Practitioner Access Members remain solely responsible for complying with the laws, licensing rules, professional ethics, privacy requirements, recordkeeping obligations, and standards that apply to their own work.

When discussing a client situation in a live call, forum, or other membership space, practitioners must remove names and all other information that could reasonably identify the client. Membership participation does not authorize a practitioner to disclose protected, confidential, or identifying client information.

Information shared through Practitioner Access is educational and is not legal, medical, ethical, supervisory, or clinical advice for a particular client or situation.

11. Intellectual Property and Permitted Use

Membership content, including videos, written materials, worksheets, guides, templates, call content, graphics, and downloads, is owned by or licensed to Suzy Carbrey LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

ADHD Focus Lab Members receive a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable license to use membership materials for their own individual educational purposes. Members may not share, reproduce, sell, publish, upload, distribute, teach from, or create competing products from the materials.

Practitioner Access Members may use and share provided worksheets and resources directly with their own clients as part of their professional services, but only in the materials’ original form. Practitioners may not:

  • Sell the materials separately or include them in a product, course, membership, resource library, or other offering for resale;

  • Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative versions of the materials;

  • Remove existing branding, copyright notices, attribution, or identifying information;

  • Add their own branding or represent the materials as their own work;

  • Post the materials publicly or distribute them beyond direct use with their own clients; or

  • Share their membership login or provide another person with access to the membership library.

Materials that do not display branding remain the intellectual property of Suzy Carbrey LLC and are subject to the same restrictions.

12. Accounts and Technology

Members are responsible for protecting their usernames, passwords, access links, and account information. Account access and membership links may not be shared.

Online services may occasionally be interrupted by maintenance, internet outages, platform changes, third-party service failures, security issues, or circumstances outside the reasonable control of Suzy Carbrey LLC. Continuous or error-free access is not guaranteed.

13. Community Conduct

Members agree to participate respectfully and may not harass, threaten, discriminate against, shame, exploit, or intentionally disrupt other Members or Suzy Carbrey LLC. Members may not use membership spaces for unsolicited promotion, solicitation, spam, or unlawful activity.

Suzy Carbrey LLC may moderate or remove forum posts or other submitted content and may restrict participation when reasonably necessary to protect the membership community.

14. Suspension or Termination

Suzy Carbrey LLC may suspend or terminate a membership immediately, without a refund, when a Member breaches confidentiality, shares account access, misuses membership materials, violates community standards, compromises the safety or privacy of others, engages in unlawful conduct, or otherwise materially violates these Terms.

Suzy Carbrey LLC also reserves the right to discontinue a membership program. If a paid membership program is permanently discontinued before the end of a Member’s paid billing period, Suzy Carbrey LLC will provide an appropriate prorated refund or comparable alternative for the unused portion, unless discontinuation results from the Member’s violation of these Terms.

15. HSA and FSA Responsibility

Membership services are educational and supportive and are not medical treatment, therapy, or healthcare services. Suzy Carbrey LLC makes no representation or guarantee that membership payments qualify for reimbursement through a Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), or similar benefit plan.

Eligibility is determined by the Member’s individual plan and may require documentation from a qualified medical provider. The Member is solely responsible for verifying eligibility and submitting any required documentation to the plan administrator.

16. Changes to These Terms

Suzy Carbrey LLC may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the memberships, business practices, technology, or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated through reasonable notice, such as email or a notice within the membership site. Continued use of the membership after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Governing Law and Severability

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the applicable checkout terms and the Privacy Policy published on suzycarbrey.com, form the agreement governing membership participation. If a specific written agreement signed by both the Member and Suzy Carbrey LLC conflicts with these Terms, the signed agreement will control to the extent of that conflict.
